About the role
As a Product Producer, you will independently own assigned complex business/campaign categories by managing the lifecycle of the product needs for video and still production. You are accountable for understanding merchant product priorities, inventory analytics, proactively defining and solving for conflicting sample needs, and implementing creative solutions to ensure production runs seamlessly. This role enables connectivity across channels for product shared with shoots, leveraging the same samples and product priorities.
On set, you will serve as the central resource for all product-related information, questions, and issues for key partners such as the stylist. You will collaborate with the Creative Producer, BCM PM, and Warehouse Lead on project execution, clearly communicating the status of product and potential issues.
Responsibilities
- Attend pre-shoot project meetings for assigned business areas, including style outs and product reviews.
- Collect pertinent information, confirm timing/location, and unpack/process samples. Note missing samples and follow up on required items.
- Proactively identify risks and build contingency plans for late or unavailable product.
- Process, pack, unpack, organize, and manage logistics for product throughout each project’s duration.
- Travel to shoots to provide on-set support as the product knowledge expert.
- Collaborate with Creative, Stylist, and Art Department teams to determine and enforce product usage guidelines.
- Create the DPCI tracking grid to ensure connection back to direct mail copy, Target.com shopability, and media plans, strengthening the guest experience.
- Work with partners post-shoot to determine product logistical needs (e.g., color separation, influencers, additional shoots, carry forward).
- Engage with the Warehouse Operations Lead and Logistics Lead to provide direction on project details, volumes, delivery needs, and priorities.
- Build category/business capabilities, institutional knowledge, and strong partnerships over time.
- Conduct ongoing process assessments and improvements.
Requirements
