Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze SiFive IP power consumption.
• Guide architecture and design to achieve state‑of‑the‑art power efficiency.
• Correlate power models with RTL and silicon.
• Innovate ways to improve power‑analysis flows.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in power benchmarking, analysis, and modeling.
• Experience with power impacts at architecture, logic design, and circuit levels.
• Strong knowledge of high‑performance out‑of‑order CPU designs.
• Proven ability to guide trade‑offs between performance and power to reach optimal designs.
• Experience with ASIC power analysis and optimization.
• Hands‑on expertise with either hardware development (RTL/implementation, verification, backend, FPGA flows) or software development is a strong plus.
• Self‑starter, fast learner, and strong problem‑solving skills.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $178,848.00 – $218,592.00. Compensation varies by location, knowledge, skills, and experience. The role may also include variable/incentive compensation and/or equity.
