Product Owner, Billing & Finance Systems
About the role
Partner with cross-functional teams to support billing, pricing, vehicle lifecycle, and financial processes. Translate business needs into requirements, resolve complex billing and data issues, and drive system and process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Act as Product Owner and Business Analyst within Agile teams, translating business needs into user stories, requirements, and solutions
- Partner with Finance, Billing, Operations, and Technology teams to support system enhancements and process improvements
- Analyze and resolve billing, invoicing, pricing, journal entry, and financial data issues
- Utilize SQL to investigate discrepancies, troubleshoot system issues, and perform controlled data updates
- Configure and maintain billing events, pricing formulas, funding indexes, account codes, interest rates, and product/service setups
- Support vehicle and asset lifecycle activities including activations, cancellations, refurbishments, trades, reassignments, and terminations
- Resolve issues related to data migrations, integrations, EDI transactions, batch processing, and system dependencies
- Support month-end activities, audits, invoice generation, and financial controls
- Identify root causes of recurring issues and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, data integrity, and billing accuracy
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Provide subject matter expertise and serve as a trusted partner to business and technology teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Analyst, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting billing, finance, or enterprise systems
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience with billing, financial, ERP, or pricing systems
- Strong Excel, SQL, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

Work Environment
This position is primarily based in an office setting with a standard professional environment. The role follows a hybrid model, with certain days required in the office and others designated for remote work. There is an expectation to attend in-person meetings and collaborative sessions as needed.
Schedule
Full Time, Monday through Friday. No travel required for this role.

The role is primarily sedentary, involving prolonged periods of sitting and extensive use of a computer and other office equipment.

Pay
Pay Range: $79,100–$110,800. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan based on company and individual performance.
