Position Overview We are seeking a Product Operations Associate to support product development and New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives for cutting-edge hardware products. This role will be responsible for managing product data, Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering changes, and hardware configurations throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced working within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems while collaborating across engineering, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing teams. This position will support customer terminal product development efforts, helping ensure products are accurately configured, documented, and released throughout the development process. Key Responsibilities Product Lifecycle Management Create, maintain, and structure Bills of Materials (BOMs) within PLM systems.Support product lifecycle management activities throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.Manage product configurations and maintain accurate product data records.Develop and maintain build matrices for prototype and production builds.Support final product configuration reviews before customer deployment. Change Order Management Create, track, and process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Release Change Orders (RCOs), and other product change requests.Enter and manage engineering changes within PLM tools such as Townsend, Agile, or Windchill.Coordinate approvals and route change orders through configuration management workflows.Ensure BOM updates and configuration changes are accurately implemented. Part Number Administration Partner with Engineering and Component Engineering teams to create and maintain part numbers.Manage the release and communication of new part numbers to internal stakeholders and contract manufacturers.Ensure product structures and associated documentation are accurate and complete. Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and third-party suppliers.Coordinate BOM and material management activities with product development teams.Support prototype build planning, device allocations, and system build readiness.Work closely with domestic and overseas manufacturing partners to support build execution. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Maintain BOMs and product structures within PLM systems.Submit and track engineering change requests and approvals.Coordinate with engineering teams regarding product configurations and component updates.Develop build matrices and manage prototype build requirements.Support operational readiness activities for new product releases.Communicate product data updates to internal and external stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.2-4 years of experience in product operations, product lifecycle management, configuration management, or related fields.Experience working with PLM tools such as Agile, Windchill, Townsend, or similar systems.Experience managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering change processes.Hardware configuration management experience.Knowledge of device or system build planning and execution.Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage competing deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.Background in consumer electronics, hardware products, aerospace, satellite systems, or related industries.Experience creating build matrices and supporting prototype builds.Familiarity with hardware components, silicon-based products, and manufacturing processes.Experience working with contract manufacturers and overseas suppliers.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
