Product/Mechanical Engineer, Creo

About the role

Siemens Industry is seeking a Product Engineer for their Grand Prairie, TX factory. Located in the heart of the DFW Metroplex, the facility employs over 1000 individuals who manufacture high-quality, engineered, and make-to-order circuit breakers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recommendations for the design and development of new products or changes in existing products.
• Engineer mechanical parts, assemblies, drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) required to build electrical equipment orders.
• Provide engineering support and technical assistance on design feasibility to other internal groups.
• Aid in the planning of detailed product development objectives.
• Participate in the review of results to ensure that products perform as intended.
• Assist in standardizing materials, components, and assemblies to reduce items procured, manufactured, and inventoried.
• Learn product engineering basics while contributing to the development of new and improved products.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• 1-3 years’ experience with ProE/Creo; recent college graduates may be considered for this role.
• Experience in Product Development or design.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continuous and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PowerPanel/Switchboard/Switchgear or similar products.
• Sheet metal fabrication design experience and knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
• Understanding of electrical schematics.

Pay

$55,264 - $105,509
