About the role
VIA is seeking a high-energy, execution-driven Product Marketing Lead to own VIA's presence in the public safety sector from end to end. This role involves blending mission-critical logistics with creative storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Own VIA's public safety footprint and content lifecycle: Build and execute the marketing strategy for the public safety vertical, ensuring VIA remains compelling and competitive across physical and digital touchpoints.
- Produce high-impact sector content: Collaborate with marketing resources to create marketing materials such as product 2-pagers, value proposition decks, and in-depth case studies. Serve as the creative force and project manager for specialized videos.
- Digital storytelling: Design and execute multi-channel promotional campaigns across social media, newsletters, and targeted digital programs. Draft compelling social copy, launch ads, and manage partner/compliance badges to keep the message accurate and fresh.
- Event strategy and execution: Manage the marketing lifecycle for VIA's participation in major public safety conferences and industry events. Own everything from pre-event pipeline campaigns and booth strategy to on-site real-time social media coverage and post-event lead reporting.
- Market intelligence and audits: Conduct market research and on-the-ground audits, serving as the marketing subject matter expert. Audit competitor positioning, track emerging sector trends, and deliver actionable strategic insights.
- Logistics and assets: Source, order, and manage all sector-specific marketing materials, digital assets, website updates, and physical booth inventory, ensuring flawless timeline management.
Requirements
- Experience: 4+ years in product marketing, field marketing, or a hybrid event and content creation role, ideally within B2B SaaS, tech, or the public sector. Experience marketing to government, law enforcement, or corrections audiences is a major plus.
- Content and copywriting versatility: Strong portfolio of clean, compelling work across short-form formats (social copy, ad hooks, event taglines) and structured, data-driven long-form formats (case studies, whitepapers, 2-pagers).
- Creative campaign execution: Proven experience planning multi-channel marketing campaigns, coordinating video asset production, and managing digital channels to nurture pipeline.
- Field and operational fluency: Exceptional project management skills and complete comfort with the fast-moving realities of event execution, including travel, booth setup, live content capture, and managing back-office deliverables simultaneously.
- Adaptability and ownership: A self-starter mentality with a genuine love for switching modes depending on what the business demands, from high-level content strategy to hands-on logistical execution in the same week.
Benefits
- Competitive benefits package including a salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 USD per year, a 401K plan with up to 5% employer contribution, fully funded health benefits, including vision and dental coverage, up to 24 weeks paid parental leave, a 4-week paid ramp-back program, and a $10K family forming benefit (covering fertility treatments, adoption, and surrogacy), flexible vacation policy, Summer Fridays, and an extended holiday period in December, remote work options, individualized growth opportunities, and a dedicated wellness advisor.
