Product Manager, Roll Covers and Maintenance

About the role

Join our North America Services team as a Product Manager for Roll Covers and Maintenance in the Pulp & Paper Industry. We're seeking a proactive, business-minded professional to serve as the technical expert within our Roll Cover and Maintenance Technology team in the Valmet Packaging Services organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice to the sales team and customers to develop, sell, and successfully implement product or service solutions that will meet customer needs
• Support customers and collaborate across sales, engineering, and operations to help grow a critical part of the business
• Respond to enquiries from the sales force or customers about the technical aspects of the organization's products and services
• Support troubleshooting and product development
• Contribute to strategic planning and help ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
• Follow systems specifications and formalized representations of solutions (e.g., flow charts, models) to configure systems that meet customer needs

This position is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy and innovation. Travel is required 30–50%.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with knowledge in Paper & Board processes, or a related degree with a minimum of 5 years related experience in the paper industry
• Intermediate to advanced computer literacy with Microsoft Office, general enterprise resource planning systems, and customer relationship management tools
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, as the incumbent will be supporting customers based in the US and Canada
• Available to travel frequently within North America
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Must be authorized to work in the US including eligibility to travel throughout North America and Europe
