About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland seeks a Product Manager to provide project and resource planning, coordination, communication and supervision of staff activities for multiple, related, complex business units. This role also manages one or more product portfolios and identifies new business and/or product opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and manages high performing teams
  • Manages staff including performance management, career development, coaching and mentoring
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders and executives to recommend and build the business case and detailed plans to enable business solutions
  • Defines and delivers clear requirements, both functional and non-functional for multiple complex business units
  • Develops and communicates a product roadmap that details priorities and timing of product deliverables
  • Develops and communicates strategic direction of UX standards
  • Serves as the point of escalation to resolve product issues and risk
  • Adheres to and coaches the department's implementation of scrum and agile for product management
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for their programs
  • Achieves departmental performance metrics, and project deliverables on time, with agreed upon scope and within budget
  • Adheres to Bank and Treasury compliance and controls, including maintaining SAFR/FISMA requirements and industry best practices
  • Exhibits and manages a culture that drives innovation and continuous improvement
  • Provides planning and management for moderate to complex projects
  • Leads and manages application development teams, ensuring optimal resource allocation and project delivery
  • Performs administrative and budgeting operations

Requirements

This role requires being a U.S. citizen and possessing a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related work experience for Product Manager I, a Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of related work experience for Product Manager II, and a Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of related work experience for Product Manager III. Master’s degrees may substitute for two years of the required experience.

  • Knowledge of regulations, procedures and practices of a specific discipline
  • Ability to perform independent research
  • Proven experience with Salesforce CRM platform, including hands-on knowledge of its capabilities and best practices

Skills

  • Ability to perform routine tasks
  • Experience with product strategy in a complex payments environment

Pay

The expected starting salary range for the Product Manager I is between $111,400 and $139,200 annually, for the Product Manager II is between $123,700 and $154,600 annually, and for the Product Manager III is between $137,000 and $171,300 annually. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and market data.
