Product Manager for Epic EMR - Remote
About the role
The Sr. Product Manager partners with Customer Care stakeholders and Epic delivery teams to translate business needs into effective, scalable solutions within the Epic EMR. This role owns the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for a defined set of Epic based capabilities, guiding initiatives from intake and prioritization through implementation and delivery. Serving as a key bridge between business partners and technical teams, the Sr. Product Manager brings strong Epic and Agile expertise to assess requests, shape solutions, and drive execution. The ideal candidate is a strong stakeholder partner, process oriented, and comfortable balancing strategic problem solving with hands on product delivery in a complex, cross functional environment.
Location: Abbott Park, IL 60064. Duration: 6 months contract (with possible extension). Remote.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Customer Care stakeholders and Epic delivery teams to translate business needs into effective, scalable solutions within the Epic EMR.
- Lead business requirement gathering and analyze the problem space to define user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Verify that work generated by development teams meets stakeholder requirements.
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for a defined set of Epic‑based capabilities.
- Guide initiatives from intake and prioritization through implementation and delivery.
- Serve as a key bridge between business partners and technical teams, assessing requests, shaping solutions, and driving execution.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Epic modules, including Cheers (Epic CRM) and/or MyChart.
- Experience must equate to at least 3 years of relevant Epic experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education).
Skills
- Product Management knowledge.
- Understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Confluence/Jira (a plus).
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm CST (6‑month contract with possible extension).
