You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our Customer Data Platform (CDP), helping connect business goals, customer needs, and technology in a way that delivers real impact. This is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact on how an organization understands and engages with its customers. You’ll sit at the intersection of product, technology, data, and marketing, helping turn customer insights into experiences that are more relevant, personalized, and connected.
Responsibilities
- Own and champion the CDP roadmap, balancing business priorities, customer value, and what’s technically achievable.
- Turn business needs and ideas into clear user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria that give engineering teams the direction they need to build great solutions.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, customer experience, and overall feasibility.
- Lead product planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and releases while keeping the team focused on what matters most.
- Partner closely with Engineering to develop scalable frameworks for data models, Data Cloud segments, and audiences that support email, SMS, paid media, personalization, and automation.
- Keep leadership and key stakeholders informed with clear, thoughtful communication around the roadmap, priorities, tradeoffs, and progress.
- Ensure the platform continues to evolve alongside a fast-moving business and changing customer expectations.
- Serve as a trusted product voice connecting CDP Platform Engineering with business partners.
- Help teams work through roadblocks, make decisions, and keep important initiatives moving forward.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure everyone understands what’s coming next and why it matters.
- Partner with other product teams to manage dependencies and deliver larger, cross-functional initiatives.
- Work closely with Solution Architecture to develop implementation approaches that are practical, scalable, and built to succeed.
- Own the strategy for audience management, segmentation, and creating unified customer profiles.
- Lead the activation of customer audiences across the CDP, partnering with Marketing, Loyalty, Service Cloud, and external platforms.
- Work with Data and Engineering teams to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements for data ingestion, transformation, and harmonization.
- Help establish and maintain thoughtful governance around data usage, privacy, and compliance.
- Stay current on emerging CDP capabilities, including AI-powered personalization and customer engagement.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, personalization, and how the organization uses customer data.
- Partner with CRM, Loyalty, and Paid Media teams to turn new platform capabilities into meaningful marketing use cases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Management experience with a track record of successfully delivering products and capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships across both technical and business teams.
- A proven ability to take complex business needs and turn them into scalable, practical solutions.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including backlog management, sprint planning, and shifting priorities.
- A solid understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, audience management, and segmentation.
- The ability to take complex technical concepts and explain them in a way that makes sense to business partners.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with a CDP platform and a strong understanding of data quality, governance, and consumer privacy.
- Knowledge of identity resolution, segmentation architecture, and moving data across multiple systems.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, APIs, and enterprise data ecosystems.
- Salesforce Data Cloud / D360 certification or an equivalent certification.
- Experience with AI-powered personalization and customer engagement strategies.
- Background in retail, e-commerce, or digital marketing.
- Experience supporting a large or global consumer brand is a bonus.
