This role leads the migration of a major OEM's connected-services ecosystem from legacy platforms to a next-generation architecture, owning migration strategy, stakeholder alignment, and the successful onboarding of vehicle programs while maintaining service continuity.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the migration strategy from legacy connected-services platforms to the future-state ecosystem
• Develop migration roadmaps across vehicle programs, mobile applications, backend services, and customer populations
• Establish migration principles, readiness criteria, and success metrics
• Partner with architecture and engineering teams to identify capability gaps and drive closure of functional, operational, and technical risks
• Maintain a platform readiness plan aligned to vehicle launch milestones
• Coordinate across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Vehicle Programs, Mobile Applications, Operations, Cybersecurity, and external suppliers
• Lead governance forums, risk reviews, and executive updates
• Drive API compatibility, service parity, and customer migration requirements
• Define transition architectures and coexistence strategies with engineering teams
• Manage complex interdependent workstreams, identify risks early, and track milestones across the migration portfolio

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Product Management, Technical Program Management, or Platform Strategy experience
• Experience leading large-scale platform migrations or modernization initiatives
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and microservices
• Strong understanding of API ecosystems and integration patterns
• Strong understanding of connected vehicle services
• Strong understanding of mobile application architectures
• Strong understanding of event-driven systems and messaging platforms
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead without direct authority
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
