About the role
We are seeking a Product Manager to join our growing Product team reporting into the Director of Product. In this role, you will own the end-to-end product strategy and execution for a core area of our consumer platform — partnering closely with Engineering, UX, and Customer Success to define, prioritize, and ship features that drive meaningful user engagement and business outcomes. You'll act as the voice of the user, bring a builder's mindset to discovery and delivery, and use AI tools as a natural part of how you work. This position will enjoy a collaborative hybrid work model, with a minimum of three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday) in our Boston, MA office.
Responsibilities
- Own your product area's roadmap end-to-end — from discovery and opportunity sizing through prioritization, delivery, and adoption measurement
- Partner with Engineering and Design in a true squad model — making decisions together, not handing things off over a wall
- Define and track key product metrics (DAU/MAU, feature adoption, NPS) and use data to guide decisions and communicate impact
- Lead customer discovery sessions; synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into clear, well-scoped product requirements
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership to align roadmap priorities with customer commitments and company goals
- Maintain up-to-date roadmap documentation and drive release communications that maximize adoption
- Proactively use AI tools (LLMs, prototyping tools, agents) to accelerate your work and explore what's possible for our users
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS; proven track record shipping user-facing mobile or web products with measurable outcomes
- Strong data fluency — you define metrics before you build, you're comfortable in BI tools, and you make evidence-based decisions
- Solid instincts for user research — you've led discovery, synthesized signals from interviews and behavioral data, and can separate feature requests from real user needs
- A genuine builder's mindset — hands-on, craft-oriented, and you push for quality even under pressure
- Clear, direct communication — sharp PRDs, crisp stakeholder updates, and comfortable presenting to senior leadership
- Active curiosity about AI and emerging tools — you're already experimenting with LLMs, vibe-coding, or AI-native workflows and excited to apply them to product work
- Collaborative and proactive — you surface problems early, bring solutions, and build trust across disciplines
Pay
The compensation range below includes base salary and bonus or on-target incentive compensation, if applicable. The range reflects HqO's reasonable, good-faith estimate of what the company expects to pay for this role at the time of posting.
Range: $150,000 - $167,500
Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to cash compensation, HqO employees are eligible for equity and comprehensive benefits.
Benefits
- Comprehensive medical, dental & vision plans for you and your dependents
- Fully paid parental leave (12 weeks), in addition to state and federal leave standards
- Pre-tax commuter benefits for qualified travel expenses
- Access to professional development tools, like free membership to LinkedIn Learning (thousands of expert-led courses)
- Unlimited time off to recharge
