Calling all innovators – find your future at Fiserv. We’re a global leader in Fintech and payments, connecting financial institutions, corporations, merchants, and consumers millions of times a day. We move money and information quickly, reliably, and securely, powering transactions like credit card swipes, mobile payments, and ATM withdrawals.

About the role

Fiserv is looking for an experienced Senior Advisor Product Manager – Open Banking to deliver Embedded Finance, Fintech, and Agentic AI solutions that bridge the gap between Fiserv’s offerings and financial institution strategies. You will leverage the Communicator Open API ecosystem, Banking Hub-Developer Studio Portal, and AppMarket to create value for clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.

This role sits at the intersection of traditional finance and disruptive innovation, shaping an Integrated Banking-as-a-Service business model that enables secure, seamless information exchange between financial institutions, Fintechs, and service providers—evolving into Gen AI-based self-service automations.

You will collaborate with clients, product, technology, operations, marketing, technical writing, and sales teams to build a foundational Open API ecosystem supporting Fiserv’s long-term growth. This includes driving the go-to-market for an Integrated Banking Marketplace featuring an open API portal, App Market, and Agentic AI experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop digital marketplace strategies for open distribution channels to support businesses in a results-driven environment.
  • Translate digital marketplace product features into user stories for development, marketing, and sales teams, articulating differentiation and key messages.

  • Conduct market research and customer discovery to deeply understand integrated and open banking business models and the competitive landscape; define problem statements, opportunities, and competitively differentiated feature sets.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies for integrated open banking marketplaces, create and manage goal-based product roadmaps, and launch products in collaboration with Product Strategy, Marketing, Development, Implementations, and Customer Success teams.
  • Identify competitive and alternative offerings, analyze potential market opportunities to inform investment decisions, and develop strategies to outperform competitors.
  • Establish innovative self-service assistive models aligned with business value.
  • Determine whether to buy, build, or partner to complete solutions for target markets.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to assess product performance.
  • Ensure all departments are prepared for new product releases and external launches.
  • Deliver product information to qualified buyers in support of sales efforts.
  • Manage aspects of the business P&L and drive financial growth.
  • Develop an Open API ecosystem balancing Fiserv’s business needs, platform capabilities, market trends, and partner feedback.
  • Identify, create, develop, and own key relationships across the Fintech partner ecosystem to drive growth from initial lead through contract close.
  • Manage Fintech partnership relationships through a self-service open API marketplace journey to ensure successful integration launches.
  • Champion business alignment between Fintechs and Fiserv’s Account Processing platforms to integrate partners into Fiserv’s go-to-market plans and metrics.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement, Product Management, Product Marketing, Content Development, and Legal teams to deepen understanding of target user needs, develop user-focused products, and manage day-to-day Fintech partner items.
  • Develop account plans, negotiate pricing, monitor performance, and participate in business reviews internally and with Fintech partners.
  • Analyze data from various sources to answer product or operational questions and incorporate insights into future decision-making.
  • Work with the Sales team to identify key partners for technology and sales distribution channels and define product requirements.
  • Serve as the market advocate, communicating how the product vision meets Fintech partner and market needs across the company.
