Product Management Intern

About the role

Blackhawk Network (BHN) operates a global platform that enables businesses to access branded payment solutions such as gift cards, e‑gifts, corporate payouts and rewards, and the technology to deliver them seamlessly. BHN’s network spans over 400,000 consumer touchpoints worldwide. The company is building a digital platform that leverages blockchain, smart contracts, serverless technology and real‑time payment systems to unlock the next million users. Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and prioritize opportunities to optimize product performance to achieve revenue/profitability goals, reduce costs, and increase customer engagement
• Develop business/functional requirements, platform interactions, success criteria and project phasing in conjunction with internal stakeholders
• Act as a customer‑centric thinker who can gather and analyze data to make product recommendations for business cases, understand how customers use our products, and identify creative ways to test ideas
• Understand key priorities and ability to meet deadlines
• Share verbally and in writing how new features work

Qualifications

• Business management, product, or payments experience and/or enrolled in BA/BS equivalent (preferred)
• eCommerce knowledge
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross‑organizationally
• Ability to recognize when to reach out and clarify business requirements
• Clear communication (verbal and written)
• Consistently meets deadlines
• Curiosity and creativity that leads to understanding problems that need solving
• Self‑starter adept at managing through chaos to reach a goal
• Enjoys a fast‑paced learning environment
• Strong English writing skills
• Strong competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and LucidChart

Pay

Salary range: $25.00/hr to $30.00/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
