Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the broader IBM product organization to support the portfolio and the business.
• Become an expert in IBM’s product management methodologies, design thinking, and new product introduction.
• Support product teams in defining product requirements, user stories, and specifications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, and sales) to ensure timely product delivery.
• Analyze competitors, market trends, and customer feedback to identify new product opportunities.
• Navigate customer outcomes, business impacts, and functional trade‑offs while communicating effectively across multiple project areas.
• Assist with projects spanning a broad range of the IBM Z and LinuxONE portfolio, curating insights from interviews with existing and potential customers that flow into the Idea Hub and engaging product teams to progress them.
• Learn the ropes of product management, gain deep market experience, and contribute to the success of IBM products.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a college or university.
• Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) required.
• Creativity and flexibility to adapt to new scenarios.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Junior / senior level coursework in entrepreneurship, marketing, product management, business development, product development, and/or product design.
• Experience with customer feedback survey analytics.
• Familiarity with AI model training.
