Product Management, Director
About the role
Meta Product Management Leaders work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, data scientists, and researchers to build products. We are looking for extremely entrepreneurial Product Management Leaders to help innovate and execute product initiatives across the company, valuing speed and agility.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team through the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products.
- Attract, build, manage, and develop a talented team of product leaders with diverse experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds.
- Establish a shared vision across the company by building consensus on strategies and priorities leading to product execution.
- Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers and designers.
- Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
- Understand Meta’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products recognized as best in the industry.
- Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where processes are fluid and creative solutions are the norm.
- Manage multiple products and priorities, scale teams, and ensure the organization is effective, healthy, and set up for success by establishing clear and measurable goals.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in Product Management and/or Product Design.
- 12+ years of experience working collaboratively with engineering, design, and user research teams.
- 8+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing both individual contributors and senior leaders.
- Critical thinking and analytical leadership experience.
- Experience presenting to senior executive audiences.
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a consumer-focused technology company.
- Experience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, or marketplaces.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize or redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements).
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews).
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies.

Pay
$249,000/year to $323,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
