Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive long-term planning and strategy for Nuclear Growth (SMRs, Advanced Nuclear Technologies, Pressurized Water Reactors).
  • Cultivate executive-level and working-level customer relationships; develop strategic partnerships to enable full-scope project solutions.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, proactively identifying emerging needs, influencing product roadmaps, and collaborating on specifications, licensing, and application requirements.
  • Lead opportunity strategy and capture planning, including win themes, competitive positioning, pricing strategy, and risk mitigation; support proposal development and lead commercial negotiations.
  • Drive product line annual planning, ensuring accountability across functional and business areas.
  • Optimize and integrate processes to meet internal and external needs.
  • Identify, develop, and present strategies, business cases, technical roadmaps, and risk mitigation plans to senior leaders collaboratively.
  • Collaborate with project management, operations, and engineering teams to meet expectations.
  • Develop long-term customer relationships domestically and internationally with the commercial team and key technology experts.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, including regulatory shifts, reactor deployment timelines, funding programs, and competitive dynamics to inform strategy.
  • Comply with all safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics.
  • Proactively segment, target, and position products/services in the competitive landscape.
  • Work with Supply Chain to identify and create supply strategies and cost targets.
  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) planning and deliver commercial success in coordination with stakeholders; lead proposal development from basis of estimates through pricing and senior leadership reviews.
  • Participate in Stage Gate product and technology development teams, including required documentation for gate meetings.
  • Represent the organization in external discussions, customer engagements, and technical forums.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 8 years in cross-functional leadership roles.
  • Minimum of 5+ years in sales, operations, engineering, or technical support.
  • Financial acumen with responsibility for the financial success of a business or project.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills resulting in business growth.
  • Ability to plan, document, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills with familiarity with Systems Engineering processes and Agile Project Management methodology.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on achieving results.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other regulatory standards.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Proven success working within highly regulated environments (nuclear, medical, food, etc.).
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40% annually.
  • Results-oriented self-starter with excellent leadership and relationship skills.
  • Ability to develop, learn, and adapt to new systems, processes, and programs.
