Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain 100% On-Time In-Fulfillment (OTIF) to all customer commitments.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure parts are moving through the facility on or ahead of schedule.
  • Communicate execution risks and opportunities to leadership.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation plans at the start of execution.
  • Coordinate necessary resources (quality, manufacturing engineering, design engineering) to facilitate seamless execution.
  • Proactively plan outsourcing vs. insourcing parts to reduce lead time and risk.
  • Drive cost improvement projects to achieve gross margin targets for hardware deliverables.
  • Create and maintain hardware execution schedules for management and customers.
  • Ensure accurate data entry in ERP systems.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, attention to detail, and strict adherence to Valcor's Personal Guarantee Program and Quality Management System.
  • Manage performance and safety of direct reports.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of production planning experience in an engineered to order, Automotive, Aerospace production, or heavily regulated environment.
  • 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP or Epicor).
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining MS Project schedules.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to drive process improvements and cultural change.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field (optional).

Physical Requirements

  • Occasional lifting or moving of materials weighing up to 25–30 lbs.
  • Regular use of computer, keyboard, and standard office equipment.
