About the role

Cisco Silicon One™ is redefining networking silicon and setting new industry standards. We are seeking an experienced New Product Program Manager to join our dynamic team, build and manage ASIC Program schedules, and ensure best-in-class operational excellence across the various phases of the ASIC product lifecycle—from prototype through production sustainment.

As a New Product Program Manager (NPPM), you will manage the successful introduction and ramp-up of new silicon products from concept through production. You will partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Test, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost objectives are met. This role requires strong program management skills, technical competence, and the ability to influence and coordinate across multiple organizations.

Responsibilities

• Support multi-functional teams through the full silicon product lifecycle—from definition, prototyping, and validation through volume production.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed program schedules, landmarks, and deliverables.
• Identify and proactively manage program risks, ensuring timely mitigation plans are in place.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for program status, updates, and issues to senior management and interested parties.
• Assist in managing aspects of product lifecycle management—scope definition, BOM/POR, schedules, interlocks, communication, and sustaining handoffs.
• Work closely with Engineering, Test, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
• Ensure products meet established cost, quality, and reliability targets at each development stage.
• Monitor alignment to Plan of Record (POR), manage changes, and ensure alignment with schedule, quality, and cost targets.
• Prepare and present program status reports, post-mortems, and lessons learned to leadership.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives in program execution, using standard methodologies and lessons learned.

Requirements

• 7+ years of program management experience in semiconductor, hardware, or high-tech product development.
• Experience successfully launching one or more new silicon products in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with new product introduction (NPI) processes and product lifecycle management for silicon ASICs, including process, product and package qualifications, as well as Test HW process and bring-up.
• Working knowledge of silicon development flows: architecture, design, verification, product/test engineering, and silicon lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with hardware/system design, testing, and production engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
• PMP, Agile, or similar project management knowledge (certification is a plus).
• Experience with silicon product development, ASIC/SoC, manufacturing.
• Familiarity with supply chain operations, quality/reliability testing, and manufacturing process flows.
• Experience using program management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira).

Pay

The starting salary range for this position is $143,100.00 to $185,900.00 for U.S. and Canada locations, not including incentive compensation, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and training.

Full salary ranges by location:

• New York City Metro Area: $143,100.00 - $213,800.00
• Non-Metro New York State & Washington State: $130,300.00 - $189,600.00

For quota-based sales roles, the ranges include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined.
