Product Liability and Class Action Litigation Associate (Minneapolis)

About the role

Dykema seeks a litigation associate with 3–5 years of experience in complex litigation, with a focus on product liability and class action matters, to join our Minneapolis office. Candidates with defense-side catastrophic injury experience are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Motion practice
• Discovery
• Brief writing
• Preparing company witnesses for depositions
• Taking and defending depositions
• Attending court appearances
• Client interaction
• Trial preparation
• Trial work

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in complex litigation, with a focus on product liability and class action matters
• Defense-side catastrophic injury experience (highly preferred)
• Substantial experience handling all phases of a case, including fact investigation and discovery
• Strong written communication and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines
• Admission to practice law in Minnesota (required)

• Prior deposition experience (a plus)
