- Maintain Workday reporting health by leading projects to audit, enhance, and strategically decommission reports/dashboards to significantly reduce technical debt.
- Establish data definitions and calculated field metrics that serve as a single, company-wide source of truth, driving cross-functional alignment and fact-based decision making.
- Recommend process improvements and enhancements to operations and policies based on a proactive evaluation of the current state.
- Lead discovery discussions with stakeholders to document reporting requirements and trends while driving learning documentation and resources.
- Proactively audit and optimize the report catalog to minimize technical debt, while supporting development of solutions contributing to the larger People Analytics roadmap.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience developing Workday reporting and dashboard solutions, with specific expertise in creating, performance tuning, and optimizing complex Calculated Fields (e.g., Evaluate Expressions, Lookup Related Values, True/False logic) across various data sources.
Bonus Points
- Experience building interactive dashboards and data pipelines using Workday Discovery Boards, Workday Prism Analytics, or specialized People Analytics/BI tools (e.g., Visier, Tableau, PowerBI) to blend external data sources and drive stakeholder self-service.
