About the role
Rippling is building compound software—a unified system where data from across the business is connected through a single graph. Global Payroll sits at the center of that system. It powers critical money movement workflows triggered by changes across the business: promotions, timecards, benefits updates, expense reimbursements, and more. Unlike traditional payroll providers that stitch together disconnected point solutions, Rippling’s platform is deeply integrated, automated, and traceable end-to-end. This platform is foundational to Rippling’s business and a key reason customers choose us.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive product experiences that simplify complex payroll and enterprise workflows
- Define and build agentic payroll capabilities powered by AIP
- Partner closely with engineering and design to develop scalable platform capabilities that unlock value across multiple use cases
- Work directly with customers to deeply understand operational pain points and identify high-impact opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Payments, HRIS, Benefits, Time, Spend, Compliance, and other product areas to deliver major platform enhancements
- Drive product strategy and execution for systems that require high reliability, compliance, and scalability

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Able to motivate and align cross-functional teams around ambitious goals
- Deep customer empathy and strong product judgment
- Strong alignment with Rippling’s leadership principles, especially:
- Push the limits of possible
