About the role

The New York Post Internship Program offers a dynamic, hands-on experience designed to give interns exposure to real-world work within the media and news industry. Our interns are highly valued team members who work on meaningful projects that directly impact our business. Throughout the program, interns participate in career-building masterclasses that support their professional growth and have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with peers and key leaders in the company.

This is a part-time Product Internship (24 hrs/week) for strategic thinkers with a passion for digital media, product development, and business strategy. You’ll gain hands-on experience working across our digital products, audience growth initiatives, and data-driven decision-making, while collaborating closely with Product Managers and Strategy Leads to help shape the future of an iconic media brand.

This internship runs from September 14, 2026 to November 20, 2026 and requires in-office attendance at our Midtown Manhattan office. Open to current juniors, seniors, MA students, and recent graduates who completed their degree within the past year.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in product development and strategy initiatives to enhance digital experiences
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends
  • Support KPI tracking, performance analysis, and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tech, editorial, and business units
  • Help create presentations and reports for senior stakeholders
  • Organize and maintain product documentation and roadmaps
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, audience insights, and media innovations

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in G-Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Interest in data tools like Looker or Tableau (a plus)
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in digital products, audience strategy, and the evolving media landscape

Pay

$20/hour
