Group/Division

The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Responsibilities

  • Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring installations are completed on schedule and meet quality standards
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
  • Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of highly complex semiconductor capital equipment
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with KLA regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership
  • Provide clear status updates to all stakeholders throughout the installation process
  • Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately and on time
  • Secure warranty sign-off on newly installed tools

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems
  • Experience with high-vacuum systems strongly preferred
  • Comfort working with computer systems, operating systems, and networking (Windows, Unix, or similar environments)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Able to work effectively across cultures, functions, and geographies
  • Selected candidate must be able to work 6 days/week, 10 hours/day
  • Operate independently while following documented procedures, exercising sound technical judgment within defined guidelines
  • Work under guidance from managers and senior IEs, with increasing autonomy as experience grows
  • Engage effectively in cross-cultural and cross-functional environments
  • Extensive travel domestically and internationally to support customer installations worldwide

Minimum Qualifications

Associates (Science/Engineering/Technology) minimum degree or equivalent work experience in supporting complex capital equipment for the semiconductor industry is required.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $30.92 - $52.55 Per Hour
