About the role
Selected candidate must be able to work 6 days/week, 10 hours/day and travel >80% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring installations are completed on schedule and meet quality standards
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
- Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of highly complex semiconductor capital equipment
- Collaborate cross-functionally with KLA regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership
- Provide clear status updates to all stakeholders throughout the installation process
- Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately and on time
- Secure warranty sign-off on newly installed tools
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of electronics, fluid dynamics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems
- Experience with chemistry or chemical analysis (preferred)
- Comfort working with computer systems, operating systems, and networking (Windows, Unix, or similar environments)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- Able to work effectively across cultures, functions, and geographies
Qualifications
- Associates of Science/Engineering/Technology minimum degree or equivalent work experience in supporting complex capital equipment for the semiconductor industry is required.
