About the role

Selected candidate must be able to work 6 days/week, 10 hours/day and travel >80% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring installations are completed on schedule and meet quality standards
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
  • Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of highly complex semiconductor capital equipment
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with KLA regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership
  • Provide clear status updates to all stakeholders throughout the installation process
  • Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately and on time
  • Secure warranty sign-off on newly installed tools

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of electronics, fluid dynamics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems
  • Experience with chemistry or chemical analysis (preferred)
  • Comfort working with computer systems, operating systems, and networking (Windows, Unix, or similar environments)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Able to work effectively across cultures, functions, and geographies

Qualifications

  • Associates of Science/Engineering/Technology minimum degree or equivalent work experience in supporting complex capital equipment for the semiconductor industry is required.

  • Extensive travel domestically and internationally to support customer installations worldwide
