Launch Excellence is a global function within Near Patient Care Operations (Mannheim / Indianapolis), under Diagnostics Global Operations, responsible for providing lifecycle and master data updates and system readiness for the Near Patient Care product portfolio, including Continuous Glucose Monitoring and Blood Glucose Monitoring.
As the Launch and Lifecycle Manager, you will lead operational launch readiness for the Near Patient Care Portfolio, from R&D launch decisions through manufacturing operations, Supply Chain, and commercialization phases. You will define requirements for new product launches and lifecycle changes in alignment with relevant functions within Diagnostics Global Operations. In this role, you will prepare and manage project plans for new product launches, lifecycle changes, and product obsolescence, coordinate cross-functional teams, and collaborate with stakeholders across the Group. You will also work closely with Master Data experts to optimize processes and proactively identify and remove roadblocks and risks.
Responsibilities
- Determine launch and lifecycle change requirements, prepare and manage project plans/schedules for implementation, and identify and mitigate project risks under GxP guidelines.
- Contribute to cross-functional launch/lifecycle teams and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve launch milestones.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and prepare products for obsolescence or phase-out.
- Identify requirements for product variants and prepare product representations in SAP, including master data.
- Participate in strategic and special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing Project Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, preferably within the Medical Device industry.
- Working knowledge of SAP, Design Control processes, and Agile/Scaled Agile Framework concepts; PMP certification preferred.
- Willingness to challenge the status quo and a passion for driving change.
- Excellent communication skills in English and strong cross-functional collaboration abilities.
