Product Handler - 2nd Shift

Duties and responsibilities

• Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
• Packaging materials to minimize damage during shipping.
• Affirm accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Label orders with order number, weight, and dimensions.
• Knowledge of shipping practices and pricing.
• Efficiently move products between staging, storage, and freight containers.
• Maintain company equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and organized state.
• Operate scan guns and update inventory counts.
• Supports maintaining a safe work environment and promotes safe work habits.
• Focuses on continuous learning to enhance skill sets and career growth.

Qualifications

• Computer skills desirable for operating warehouse management system (WMS).
• One to two years of warehouse experience, preferred.
• The ability to meet warehouse deadlines.

Physical requirements

• Sitting, standing, walking.
• Lifting: raising or lowering an object from one level to another (includes upward pulling).
• Using and operating warehouse scanners for inventory tracking and processing orders.
• Good eye-hand coordination and sense of balance.
• Exposure to varied temperatures within the warehouse environment.
• Working inside and outside, around machinery with moving parts, and around vehicles.
• Carrying, pushing, pulling boxes and items; up to 75 lbs., at times.
