About the role
Veeva Systems is seeking a Product Expert for Veeva Compass. This role involves leading customer engagements, providing guidance, and driving customer success through the use of Veeva Compass products.
Responsibilities
- Independently lead customer engagements from contracting onward
- Understand customer strategic objectives and challenges related to data operations and analytics workflows
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, including account details, meeting notes, and action items
- Provide guidance on best practices for Compass access and use
- Act as primary liaison between customers and various Veeva teams to address needs and ensure seamless experiences
- Communicate product release information and roadmaps to diverse customer audiences
- Collect, analyze, and share customer feedback and product gaps
- Create various collateral for external use, including user guides and training presentations
- Collaborate with the wider Product team to create and deliver product communication
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in a customer-facing role at a consulting company or health tech firm, or internal analytical role at a life sciences company
- Experience with industry data products and partners, including IQVIA and Komodo
- Deep understanding of customer use cases in life sciences, such as patient data analytics, targeting & segmentation, field alerts, incentive compensation, etc.
- General understanding of the commercial data & analytics landscape, including data, infrastructure, tools, and operational processes
- Ability to understand and communicate data/technical requirements, preferences, and limitations to both business and technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing customer needs and challenges
- Proven ability to drive customer adoption and value realization from data products
- Strong analytical and communication skills; written, verbal, and formal presentation abilities
- Occasional travel to customer sites
Nice to have
- Experience creating materials for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with demo/video editing software and performing software demonstrations
- Experience managing an online community

Pay
$65,000 - $150,000 base salary, plus variable bonus and/or stock bonus
