Job Description

In MACOM's MMIC Business Unit we design MMICs and IMAs for cellular, aerospace & defense, and other wireless applications. We are looking for an experienced RF/MMW Product Engineer with experience working with MMICs, waveguide components, power supplies, support PCBs, and test systems for RF & Millimeter Wave multi-chip modules.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technologies or equivalent in a science or engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years working with RF/Microwave/Millimeter-Wave electronics.
  • Bona fide connector and test plan enthusiast.
  • Experience using lab equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Multimeters, etc.
  • Familiarity with CAD platforms such as KiCAD , AutoCAD, SketchUP, Fusion360, TinkerCAD, nanoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.
  • Knowledgeable in drafting standards and best practices.
  • Detail oriented and quality focused.
  • High mathematical skills, analytical, and problem-solving skills or better.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience.
  • Unparalleled time management skills and a thirst for working for multiple managers with competing deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, organization and documentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build long lasting partnerships.
  • Ability to work in fast-pace environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
