Product Engineer II, Conformal
About the role
At Cadence, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to make an impact on the world of technology. This opportunity is for a Product Engineer working with the Conformal Products. You will be part of a highly efficient and independently-minded team of engineering professionals focused on our top customer’s success. You will also be working closely with R&D to help deliver new product features, enhancements, and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to work with strict deadlines
- Provide systematic debug and educated decision making
- Maintain team communication
- Become an expert with the Conformal products, especially in equivalency checking (Conformal LEC)
- Represent R&D in front of customers, and represent customers in front of R&D
- Provide regular updates
- Troubleshoot ambiguous problem statements
- Narrow down root causes
- Discover acceptable workarounds
- Translate the issue for R&D to fix
Requirements
Must be able to work with strict deadlines, provide systematic debug and educated decision making, and team communication are required.
Qualifications
A BS degree in EE, CS, or a related field is required along with 3+ years of relevant experience.
Skills
- Knowledge and experience with RTL Synthesis design flows and verification tools is recommended.
- Must have strong scripting skills with tcl, perl, and other scripting languages.
- Technical writing skills are highly recommended.
- Having experience in RTL coding and low power design is a plus.

Pay
The annual salary range for California is $105,000 to $195,000. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
