What You’ll Get to Do
- Interpret information, approvals, and drawings to present project requirements and product applications for operations.
- Use software packages like AutoCAD and ERP to generate a bill of materials and manufacturing drawings for custom architectural window projects.
- Process project information using Excel and in-house configuration software.
- Research and analyze sales, estimating, and production requirements for given orders or window series.
- Research and analyze engineering product standards and requirements for projects.
- Produce output material with high accuracy.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with manufacturing and other departments as needed.
- Navigate shop floor and troubleshoot engineering issues.
- Champion safety, culture, and process improvement.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
What We Are Looking For
- A high school diploma or GED.
- An associate’s degree in a related program is preferred.
- Proven proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), with a good working knowledge of Excel.
- Basic knowledge of computers and preferred programs (ERP or AutoCAD).
- Possess an ability to self-check work to ensure accuracy.
- Strong working knowledge of mathematics (algebra, trigonometry, etc.).
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and arrive at a logical solution.
- Ability to self-manage workload with minimal supervision.
- Aluminum window experience is preferred but other related fields are welcome.
