Responsibilities
- Build AI agents that solve real creator problems, not demos or abstractions.
- Translate ambiguous creative intent into structured, reliable agent behavior.
- Owning agent outcomes: success rate, correction loops, time-to-creation, creator satisfaction.
- Work closely with product and design to shape how users interact with agents, not just what models do.
- Design and implement agent workflows for tasks like: Story breakdown & episode planning, Shot sequencing & visual continuity, Character consistency across scenes, Iterative refinement via user feedback.
- Build agent systems that reason across context, memory, tools, and constraints.
- Balance autonomy vs control — knowing when agents should act, ask, or pause.
- Build agent orchestration layers using LLMs, tools, and internal services.
- Design memory, state, and execution models that scale across long creative sessions.
- Integrate agents with Frameo’s core systems: assets, timelines, styles, characters.
- Ensure reliability, debugability, and cost awareness in production.
- Write production-grade code across backend and agent logic (Python / TypeScript).
- Own features end-to-end — from design doc to rollout to iteration.
- Instrument agents with observability: logs, traces, failure modes, success signals.
- Iterate fast based on real creator behavior, not theoretical correctness.
Requirements
- 2–7 years of experience as a Product Engineer / Full-Stack Engineer.
- Strong fundamentals in building end-to-end product systems.
- Hands-on experience working with LLMs, agents, or tool-calling systems in production.
- Comfort working across: Backend services & APIs, Agent orchestration / workflows, Prompting, evaluation, and iteration.
- Strong product sense — you care about what users experience, not just model outputs.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and turn messy problems into shipped systems.
- Clear communication and structured thinking.
Bonus Points
- Experience building agentic systems (LangGraph, custom orchestrators, tool routers, etc.).
- Familiarity with creative tools, editors, or complex UX workflows.
- Experience designing human-in-the-loop systems.
- Understanding of cost/latency trade-offs in LLM-powered products.
- You care about storytelling, comics, animation, or creative expression.
