About the role

Works cross-functionally with engineers, mechanical designers, manufacturing, suppliers, industrial design, and marketing by performing large, complex engineering assignments related to the creation, development, and/or improvement of product designs.

Responsibilities

• Perform large, complex engineering assignments related to the creation, development, and/or improvement of product designs
• Work cross-functionally with engineers, mechanical designers, manufacturing, suppliers, industrial design, and marketing

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent

Required Skills

• Technology-Engineering Analysis & Methodology: Ability to apply mechanical engineering principles, material science, manufacturing processes and tooling as they relate to the engineering of a product
• Experience in the engineering approval of parts for production (ISIR-PPAPs)
• Experience performing and understanding DFMEA-PFMEAs
• Proven history of successful product launches into production
• PTC Creo experience (required)
• 2 years plastic injection molding experience
