About the role

We are seeking a hard-working creative problem solver to join Brilliant Earth’s Product Development team. • Partner directly with vendors to produce samples and live orders, communicating clearly to maintain accuracy and efficiency
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships, including leading weekly meetings to track deliverables
  • Manage style allocation across the catalogue with partners, upholding manufacturing standards and best practices
  • Support quality improvement initiatives, including chain testing and quality metrics tracking
  • Contribute cross-functionally to supply planning and inventory control
  • Identify and implement improvements to systems, policies, and procedures that support Brilliant Earth's quality, delivery, and cost objectives
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline sample tracking, vendor communication, and quality reporting

Requirements

  • BA degree or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with vendor management required (2+ years preferred)
  • Experience in the jewelry industry and/or product development is preferred
  • Experience performing quality assurance testing and photographing physical samples is preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including external vendors and partners
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and knowledge of ERP/inventory systems (NetSuite a plus)
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot) to streamline your work, and an appetite for finding new ways to apply them
  • Interest in socially and environmentally responsible organizations and products
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to think critically and adapt quickly, with a high sense of urgency, in a flexible environment
  • Team player with an ability to work collaboratively
  • Entrepreneurial spirit / self-starter
