Product Development Program Manager – Vehicle Launch & Change Control

Key Responsibilities

• Manage program milestones, decisions, and deliverables across a single vehicle program.
• Cook up cross-functional activities with Engineering, Studio, Marketing, Manufacturing, New Model Programs, Finance, Purchasing, Logistics, Capacity Planning, Launch teams, and suppliers.
• Manage and track Change Request (CR) approvals.
• Generate CR reporting decks and track overall program activities.
• Maintain Cost Detail Document (CDD) trackers.
• Create CDDs, verify cost capture against the Finance Bill of Materials (BOM), and route documents for approval.
• Execute Engineering Change Management (ECM).
• Review Engineering Change Notice (ECN) distributions, assess impacts to program-specific content, communicate implementation timing to assembly facilities, and track inventory to minimize obsolescence.
• Process initial and change control releases for supplier-owned service parts.
• Communicate release data to the CAD team for Teamcenter 3D model updates.
• Lead cross-functional meetings, including Design & Function (DF), Change Control (CC), Software Change Control, and Service meetings.
• Cook up supplier activities, identify action items, and track Total Value Management (TVM) savings in CRID.
• Execute general program management and ongoing production support activities.
