Product Development & Production Manager (Mandarin speaking)

Responsibilities

  • Cook up activities across the full product lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Monitor timelines, calendars, and key deliverables
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external partners
  • Track strike-offs, lab dips, and fabric development, escalating timeline risks as needed
  • Track development-to-production status, samples, materials, and approvals
  • Ensure products meet quality standards, cost targets, and seasonal milestones
  • Coordinate with vendors and factories
  • Confirm production readiness by ensuring key requirements are complete before order release
  • Create and maintain bulk production style setups, purchase orders, and cutting lists
  • Maintain production status and resolve issues in partnership with factories and suppliers
  • Manage daily communication with factories, mills, trim suppliers, and overseas partners
  • Partner with logistics teams to support shipment tracking and delivery coordination
  • Support product reviews and fittings
  • Assist in resolving development and production issues
  • Maintain product information, development and production documentation, and related records
  • Recommend process improvements and support seasonal and ongoing initiatives
  • Provide support for special projects and other assigned responsibilities
  • Communicate updates, specifications, and project requirements
  • Identify and escalate risks or issues that may affect timelines, quality, or business objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Experience working with products from concept through production
  • Knowledge of full product life cycle processes, materials, sourcing, and manufacturing workflows
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Mandarin or Cantonese fluency is a MUST
