Product Development Engineer (Eng Mgmt / PLC Lead)(E)

About the role

Product Development Engineers are core to KLA’s technology. While there is no current opening, KLA is interested in learning about your background for future opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage multidimensional relationships within KLA and with suppliers.
• Oversee engineering activities on next generation of existing products, including development and release of new options, features, or cost reduction improvements.
• Work closely with other groups to define customer requirements and successfully implement product enhancements.
• Train Service and Manufacturing employees.
• Travel to customer sites to resolve technical issues (fly and fix) and support existing systems post-release.

Requirements

• Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years.
• Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years.
• Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years.
• PhD in Physics, Material Science, Mechanical, Optical, or Electrical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, optical, electrical, or systems design, overseeing sub-systems projects, troubleshooting systems issues, and creating/test plan implementation.

Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits

• Base Pay Range: $105,700.00 - $179,700.00
