Product Development Engineer
KLA is a global leader in diversified electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem. Virtually every electronic device in the world is produced using our technologies. Our systems and solutions are used in the manufacturing of wafers, reticles, integrated circuits, packaging, printed circuit boards, and flat panel displays. We invest 15% of sales back into R&D, focusing on innovation with expert teams of physicists, engineers, data scientists, and problem-solvers.
About the Team
The Surfscan group within KLA’s Global Products Group (GPG) develops metrology and inspection products that enable wafer, IC, and equipment manufacturers to monitor process tools. The team focuses on technology that helps identify yield excursions early through defect detection and process non-uniformities. Flagship products include the SPx platforms for wafer surface quality and defect inspection during wafer fabrication.
