Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Product Development Administrative Coordinator to support our Product Development team and help bring the best snacks to market. This role offers administrative and operational support to the Product Development department in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for daily Product Development operations
  • Process and coordinate customer and sales sample requests
  • Schedule production trials and product development activities
  • Maintain ingredient libraries, product databases, and vendor records
  • Manage third-party certification administration and supplier approval documentation
  • Cookbook product and material sample requests and shipments
  • Generate reports, spreadsheets, forms, labels, and correspondence
  • Organize meetings, conference calls, travel arrangements, and trade show activities
  • Communicate effectively with sales, logistics, and production teams
  • Ensure documentation and processes comply with FDA, OSHA, GFSI, HACCP, and food safety standards
  • Support recordkeeping and documentation management across departments

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of office administration, office assistant, or related experience required
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management/ERP software
  • Experience in food manufacturing or regulated industries is a plus
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Piscataway, NJ required
