About the role
The Product Developer is a strategic professional who closely follows the latest trends in their field and adapts them for application within Citi’s business. This role requires excellent communication skills to negotiate internally, often at a senior level, and developed diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and convince others. The Product Developer is accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business, with a degree of responsibility over technical strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop new products and/or features, including business cases, requirements definition (BRDs), product enhancements, innovation, and feature/functionality definition based on market research, industry trends, and client needs.
- Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle, including scoping product releases, tracking business priorities, incorporating regulatory and compliance requirements, and investment tracking.
- Create a product vision aligned with business priorities and a corresponding roadmap for delivery.
- Follow market, industry, and client trends to adapt them for Citi’s products and solution platforms.
- Conceptualize, plan, prioritize, coordinate design, and deliver products or features to product release, serving as a product ambassador within the user community.
- Work closely with Sales, Technology, Business Managers, and senior stakeholders to fulfill delivery objectives.
- Manage and implement a wide variety of products and solutions to meet client needs, delivering significant direct business results and authoritative advice regarding product development.
- Partner with senior business leaders and a global user community to define and implement solutions.
- Create clear and specific project plans, business, and technical requirements documents for product execution.
- Interact directly with business managers, technology, and sales to understand long-term vision, discuss industry trends, and incorporate them into the product and solutions strategy.
- Focus on controls and governance, including performing Need-to-Know based security and access reviews, access approvals, controls testing, and documentation.
- Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for Citi’s reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets by adhering to policies, laws, and regulations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience.
- Proven track record of successfully managing in a large and complex business.

- Thorough financial acumen and P&L management experience.
- Excellent analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.

- Self-aware with the ability to adapt to various situations, rapidly assimilate, and report on complex information while creating a future vision.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.

Pay
Full-time salary range: $130,880.00 - $196,320.00.
