About the role

The Design team at Agoda is a diverse group of product designers and researchers that help build Agoda's products from our home office in Bangkok. We are a part of Booking Holdings [NASDAQ: BKNG] and work with a global team of over 7,000 people from 90 countries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of cross-sell and recommendation across all of our user touchpoints.
  • Partner closely with engineers, user researchers, and product managers to design interactions that feel human, helpful, and seamless.
  • Set the design vision, define the user experience, and ensure high-quality execution.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders within an agile development process.
  • Communicate design rationale to peers and leadership, both async and in-person.
  • Participate in weekly design critiques, workshops, all hands, and squad meetings.
  • Think and write about your process and detailing your decisions.
  • Promote cohesion and consistency in UX design that unites a growing family of products/features.
  • Act as a strategic leader with a vision in how to implement experiences that represent the most customer-centric intersection between design, business, content, and technology.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of full-time experience as a product designer for digital or web-based products; in-house experience highly preferred.
  • Create visually stunning, intuitive, and delightful interfaces, and independently deliver pixel-perfect UI and seamless interactions.
  • Proficient in both quantitative and qualitative research, with hands-on experience running user interviews, synthesizing findings, and generating actionable insights to inform design decisions.
  • Take full ownership of the design process for a dedicated scrum, from discovery to delivery.
  • Use data, research, and business context to inform your design decisions, always balancing user needs with business goals.
  • Strong communicator who can articulate design rationale, influence stakeholders, and build trust across disciplines.
  • A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your design thinking, process, and solutions showcasing beautiful, user-centered web and mobile product design.

Qualifications

  • You work alongside your design partners in driving discovery and ideation workshops and align the group around a vision and approach.
  • You have a track record of crafting sophisticated flows and customer journeys.
  • You can think and craft at a system level, not just interface elements or pages.
  • You regularly make use of your soft skills: listening, negotiating, decision-making.
  • You balance multiple priorities and successfully deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
