Remote employees must be willing to travel to Reno, NV once a quarter.

Responsibilities

• Act as a customer advocate, ensuring the digital experience aligns with user needs and expectations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to conceptualize and design solutions
• Responsible for the design process from research and discovery through wireframes, prototypes, visual design, and developer handoff
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to validate design decisions
• Conduct usability tests and gain an in-depth understanding of our products and customers
• Create highly interactive prototypes using AI and cutting-edge designs using Figma
• Partner closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to deliver high-quality customer experiences from concept through launch
• Partner with the Product team to measure the success of design solutions using customer feedback and product metrics
• Stay informed about industry trends and continuously improve our user experience strategies

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or a related field
• Experience designing complex web applications or SaaS products
• Proficient in design tools such as Figma, FigJam, and other product design software
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, interaction design, visual design, and measurable business or customer outcomes
• Ability to translate complex ideas into intuitive, user-friendly designs
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Self-driven with a commitment to understanding our product, our customers, and the nuances of the industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Using AI tools such as Claude Code in the design process for fast iteration
• Experience in the manufacturing industry
• Experience designing products for manufacturing, engineering, CAD, industrial software, or other complex technical applications

Work Environment

This role is based onsite in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that requires consistent communication, organization, and coordination across cross-functional teams. The position may require time spent in or around a manufacturing facility with exposure to moderate noise, moving equipment, and industrial conditions.

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
• Ability to use a computer, phone, and other standard office equipment
• Ability to move throughout an office and manufacturing environment as needed
