Product Designer

About the role

This role is on-site, 5 days a week in their McLean, VA office. This role is ideal for a product designer who thrives in a collaborative, agile environment and is passionate about solving complex problems through human-centered design. Experience designing complex SaaS products is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX and product design efforts from discovery through delivery
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications
• Conduct and apply user research, usability testing, and customer feedback to drive design decisions
• Champion design system adoption and ensure consistency across experiences
• Present design solutions, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment across teams
• Mentor peers and contribute to the evolution of our UX practice, processes, and standards

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in UX, product, interaction, or visual design
• A minimum of 5 years of experience delivering digital products and experiences
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of Design Thinking and human-centered design methodologies
• Experience conducting usability testing and translating insights into product improvements
• Proficiency with Figma (preferred), Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools
• Experience working within Agile product teams
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design leadership and impact
• Proven ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive experiences
