Product Designer (8+ YOE)

You'll Be Doing

• Craft exceptional experiences
• Using your full range of product design skills to discover, design, and deliver intuitive, well-crafted experiences
• Elevate some Airtable’s most critical workflows while holding a high bar for overall design quality
• Contribute to a vision of Airtable
• The platform is evolving rapidly and we want you to help define a strong point of view about where we are going
• Shape not just features but the broader arc of how Airtable grows
• We are committed to becoming an AI-native platform, and we’re looking for a designer to help steer this evolution and shape how these new capabilities integrate into the core user experience
• Experiment with AI-assisted prototyping (and building)
• We’re excited about designers who are evolving how they design and prototype with AI-assisted tooling
• This could take the form of vibe-coded flows, iterating across Figma MCP and AI tools, or validating interactions in realistic code environments
• You’ll communicate your ideas through working interactive prototypes using tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Figma
• Make—not just static screens
• Bonus if you’re getting comfortable and familiar with experimenting in code
• Work closely with cross-functional partners
• Partner effectively with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to create cohesive user experiences across Airtable

• Your users are passionate builders working towards very specific workflows and outcomes across industries
• You’ll have direct conversations with them, run interviews and use their feedback to inform your work
• Help our design team thrive

• You'll contribute to team critiques, spend time in collaborative jam sessions, and continue to learn and grow in your own craft and practice
• We are actively evolving how we work together as a team, including experimenting with agentic workflows, AI-assisted design operations, and new ways of prototyping and thinking through problems

Who You Are

• An Experienced Product Designer
• Have 8+ years experience and have a portfolio of thoughtful, impactful work to show for it
• Bonus if you’ve worked on AI, SaaS, or zero-to-one projects
• Gravitate towards ambiguous, novel problems
• Fluent in prototyping and exploration
• Moves easily between sketching, detailed interaction design, and working prototypes
• Use whatever medium best communicates the idea (including code)
• Curious About Where Software Creation Is Headed
• Stay up-to-date with emerging tools and are familiar with new interaction patterns, interfaces, and agentic workflows that are changing the way we work
• Make people around you better
