Product Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Product Design Engineer responsible for developing and improving pump and flow measurement products by translating sales and marketing specifications into robust engineering solutions.

Key Duties

• Designing new products and enhancing existing ones using SolidWorks and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Performing mechanical analyses such as force, stress, and deflection to ensure product reliability
• Developing components like bearings, bushings, gears, and connections to meet structural and functional standards
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams for product development, testing, and troubleshooting
• Creating and validating test plans, analyzing performance data, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and certifications
• Providing technical support to internal teams, customers, and suppliers
• Mentoring junior engineers and managing project planning and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and FEA tools
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials including metals and plastics
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop project plans and work effectively in team environments

This role involves limited travel and is onsite, with responsibilities focused on ensuring high-quality, manufacturable products that meet industry standards and customer needs.
