Responsibilities
- Own the refinement and development phase of products, ensuring designs are ready for manufacturing
- Translate early concepts into detailed CAD models, assemblies, and technical drawings
- Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) efforts
- Partner closely with internal teams and external manufacturers to ensure production feasibility and quality
- Support prototyping, testing, and iteration to validate product performance and manufacturability
- Collaborate with suppliers and factories (including overseas partners) on tooling, materials, and production processes
- Identify and resolve engineering challenges during development and pre-production
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in product development, mechanical design, or engineering
- Experience working on physical consumer products (housewares, cookware, appliances, or similar)
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar 3D CAD software)
- Hands-on experience with DFM / DFA
- Experience with manufacturing processes
