Product Counsel Lawyer

Axiom is seeking a Product Counsel / Product Innovation Counsel to work with some of the world’s largest companies across diverse industries.

Responsibilities

• Counsel sophisticated and diverse clients, including highly innovative global technology companies.
• Provide legal advice to teams from Research & Development, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, Advertising Sales, and Marketing & Communications from the initial stages of product development to launch.
• Support business teams by building consensus on projects from design to launch, including new features, products, services, and programs.
• Review global products, features, and platforms to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies focused on company goals.
• Remain up to date on relevant industry, data privacy, consumer protection, and advertising laws and regulations to ensure ongoing ability to provide thoughtful and relevant advice.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience at a top law firm and/or in-house department as product, technology, commercial, privacy, or IP counsel; engineers with a law degree are also encouraged to apply.
• Active bar license for the state in which you physically reside.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with an in-house role at a technology company.
• Experience partnering with R&D teams and engineers.
• Held the title of Product Counsel and launched a product.

Pay

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500–325,000 per year. Compensation decisions are based on experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
