Product Counsel, Delivery (Direct & Logistic)
About the role
We're looking for an exceptional, multi-faceted Product Counsel to join the Delivery Legal team and play a key role in supporting Uber's delivery and logistics businesses. As we scale our fast-growth on-demand delivery offering, Uber Direct, and expand its capabilities into new areas of logistics, including last mile, you will be at the forefront of Uber's mission to enable local commerce. The Delivery Legal team is a critical business partner as we scale a global platform that enables millions of consumers and merchants to get (almost) anything delivered - from everyday essentials to unexpected delights. In this role, you'll offer strategic counsel to Product, Operations, Strategy, Engineering, and Sales teams to help launch new features, enter new markets, and build deep integrations with enterprise partners and merchants around the world. Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted product counsel to teams building B2B white-label delivery, last-mile delivery, and end-to-end logistics products and operations.
- Partner closely with Product, Operations, regional legal teams, and other cross-functional teams to advise on product design, business and operational models, and launches across multiple jurisdictions.
- Develop practical, risk-balanced legal strategies that enable innovation and growth while navigating evolving laws and regulations applicable to delivery, shipping, logistics, and platform businesses.
