About the Role
DSG is seeking a Product Costing System Analyst to join our team. As a Product Costing System Analyst, you will manage and govern PDW and product data file costing through an extensive level of data manipulation.
Responsibilities
- Be a primary contact for all salespeople/managers in the organization for all product data costing concerns.
- Maintain existing pricing data attributes such as replacement cost, market cost, list price, price line, and other pricing attributes.
- Product Data Warehouse File Maintenance: Importing data from vendors, manufacturer rep, internal sourcing teams, or salespeople for costing updates.
- Data Integrity: Cleaning and modifying existing data, including new records created in the product file to ensure product data is complete, timely, accurate, and consistent.
- This includes a critical practice of identifying and removing duplicate products.
- Work with Customer Pricing team to ensure products are properly classified in appropriate sell groups.
- Provide support to Eclipse conversion teams to ensure product data files from distributor branch acquisitions are converted accurately into DSG’s product data base.
- Expected to have strong product knowledge and manufacturer background to discern ambiguous product information into usable data.
- Logical reasoning through use of Excel and Eclipse applications to classify and maintain product data.
- Adapt to other responsibilities as the business transformation evolves.

Requirements
- Undergraduate degree preferred but not required.
- Extensive experience and working knowledge of Eclipse or other ERP distribution software.
- Plumbing/Showroom/HVAC/Electrical product knowledge preferred.
- Strong Excel skills (ability to do data analysis, manipulation, and preparation).
- Strong working knowledge of Eclipse PDW preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented and able to provide excellent customer service.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail oriented with ability to efficiently organize.
Qualifications
