Product Control Analytics - Senior Associate

About the role

The Treasury/Chief Investment Office (TCIO) manages the Firm's consolidated interest rate and FX risk through investment and hedging strategies, executing market transactions across fixed income, FX, and credit products. Risks managed include structural interest rate, mortgages, and foreign exchange. The role sits within the North America Product Control team, which oversees financial reporting of CIO's hedging activity, ensuring proper implementation of Derivative Accounting and reporting policies. This position offers exposure to interest rate swaps, cross currency swaps, and various fixed income products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze daily P&L and position reports for the Front Office.
• Compile analyses to explain P&L components and drivers of hedge activity.
• Work closely with Technology teams to implement reporting requirements and resolve issues.
• Support the implementation of new hedging strategies.
• Oversee procedures and controls surrounding hedging activities.
• Recommend process improvements and streamline workflows.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and analytical requests.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of Interest Rate Swaps, Cross Currency Swaps, Fixed Income Instruments, and Debt products.
• Knowledge of AI and experience applying AI in practice is preferred.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting and finance.
• High motivation, a desire to learn, and ability to quickly climb the learning curve.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interface effectively with Front Office, Operations, and Technology teams.
• Ability to manage individual projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Exposure to hedging and/or derivative products is a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no employment-based immigration sponsorship is offered for this role.
